I'm in my third year at Northeastern University in Boston. As an English and Communications Major and Writing Minor, I don't "know" what I'm "doing." I do know that I'm interested in women's empowerment, politics, and rhetoric. I tutor in Northeastern's Writing Center, where we help all levels and types of university writers become better writers. 

 

My graduating high school class consisted of forty girls in rural Virginia. I came to Northeastern from a community of young women, ready to translate four years of burgeoning feminism into the famed real world. Now, my global co-op allows me to revisit a community of forty girls, as the Leadership Resident in the Harpswell Foundation dormitory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
